Historic Context:
The Japanese tanks deployed against Adam Park failed to break into the estate and according to the Cambridgeshire accounts as many as 10 tanks were lost in the engagement. This is doubtful as Japanese sources say that damaged tanks were often recovered and repaired in the front line.
