This is a collection of images from Andrew Morrison who lived at 16 Adam Park after the war with his father Hugh Rintoul Morrison and his mother Isabella (Tibbie).
Historic Context:
The Morrisons lived at 16 Adam Park before the war. Hugh joined the reserves as a doctor and was captured at the time of the fall of Singapore. He survived working on the Thai Burma Railroad and returned to 16 Adam Park after the war. Tibbie was evacuated out to the UK with Andrew's two sisters on 30th January 1942 aboard the Empress of Japan.
The images show the couple relaxing about the house after their return as well as a number of shots of Andrew and his friends who lived in the neighbourhood. There are also images of the the house staff including Ah Sam there head amah
