This service register gives the day in the Church's year, date and location (St Michael's Chapel, Adam Park; Sine Road; Holy Trinity chapel/church, Changi Village/Selarang; New Church in the Wood) the type of service, the number of communicants (for communion services), the subject of the sermon, the name of the minister.

Historic Context:

It was created by Captain Eric Andrews the padre for St Michael'd Chapel at Adam Park in 1942 however the handwriting for many of the entries is different from Eric's and contains some spelling errors. Some other interesting pieces of information: Page 4 - Eric provides the date for the naming of chapel, St Michael (22nd Sunday after Trinity, 1st November 1942) (All Saints' Day) Confirmation recorded as on 17th September 1942 was by Bishop John Leonard Wilson KCMG (23 November 1897 - 22 July 1970) Bishop of Singapore from 1941 to 1949, and subsequently Dean of Manchester and Bishop of Birmingham. There is an upside-down sketch on the inside back cover of an altar design.
