A collection of photographs gathered during the research phase of the project showing SNCO's and men of the Cambridgeshires. Some are taken from group shots, others are portraits handed down by the next of kin of which we are very grateful. The identity of some of the men remains unknown. If you have any information as to the names of these men please contact the museum on the link below and we will do our best to identify them.

Historic Context:

Many men visited the photographer's studio before leaving for the Far East and sent home the prints to their loved ones. Many more carried a photograph of their wives and family in their personal possessions.
